Las Sendas Community Info
The Las Sendas Community
Even though Las Sendas might at first glance appear to be a master planned community like many others in Arizona, you will soon begin to realize that Las Sendas is truly a special place. Set on almost 1900 acres, nestled in the beautiful landscape of the Sonoran desert it manages to unite modern luxury living with the charm of the outdoors and Arizona wildlife. It is not by accident that Las Sendas chose “Celebrate the Community of Nature and Man” as its slogan.

The Trailhead Athletic Club and Spa offers beauty treatments such as facials, massages, fitness exercises tailored to your personal needs as well as nutritional evaluation and guidance and options that will enable you to continue your healthy lifestyle.

As removed as Las Sendas might sound it find itself in close proximity to Loop 202 which takes East Valley residents anywhere in no time at all.

The Paths
For centuries, the Sonoran Desert has supported and sustained life, despite the toughest odds. An astounding variety of plants and animals have managed to survive and thrive in this arid environment. The natural desert landscape that surrounds Las Sendas remains untouched, showcasing the area’s magnificent native beauty.
Las Sendas, which is the Spanish phrase for ‘the paths’, is a community integrated by miles of natural desert and hard surface pathways for walking, running, or biking. Trails may lead you to intimate settings or an encounter with a life sized statue of an individual who has made an impact on the world. You can even follow a path to the Tonto National Forest which creates our community’s northern border.
We hope you take advantage of the trails and walkways, as well as the many parks and amenities Las Sendas has to offer. Besides being a wonderful relaxing experience, it’s also a great way to get some exercise, connect with friends and family, or simply take in the beauty that surrounds this amazing community.
Statues
Since 1995, Las Sendas has been home to a unique 10-piece bronze sculpture collection. Originally placed along hiking trails, many of the pieces were relocated from the trails to more visible sites. In recent years, the Las Sendas Community Association had all of the pieces cleaned and polished, and landscaping and lighting were enhanced to highlight these one of a kind pieces. Everyone can now enjoy discovering the sculptures and learning about the people they represent.
